Middlesex County Senior Health & Fitness Week
May 24th – May 28th
Come join seniors throughout the county and take part in activities at a variety of locations. Each participating senior center will host events during this week – some activities include:
Aerobics Spa Day Shuffleboard
Billiards Horseshoes Stretch & Toning
Bocce Pilates Tai Chi
Bowling Ping Pong Yoga
Wii Games Dancing Sittercize Chair Exercises

Middlesex County Senior Art Contest & Exhibit

Art Exhibit is open to the public
Monday – Thursday 11:00am – 4:00pm
Any person age 60 and older residing in Middlesex County may submit one entry completed within the past three years. Entrants may be of either professional or non-professional status. Please note all artwork must be the original creation of the artists. Winners from the county contest will participate in the state competition in September. For information regarding categories and eligibility guidelines or to obtain an entry form please call the Middlesex County Department of Senior Services at (732) 745-4305. All artists must register for the competition by June 18th.
Middlesex County Senior Health & Fitness Walk
Roosevelt Park
September 22nd, 2010
10am-1pm
Come join seniors from throughout the county for fun, exercise, entertainment and a special day in the park. Participating seniors will receive T-shirts, sun visors and a boxed lunch. Blood Pressure and Glucose Screenings will be done prior to the walk; giveaways and a raffle will take place as the event draws to an end.
