Wheelchair Accessibility
All
program sites are accessible. Both the Cornelius
Low House/Middlesex County Museum (first floor) and all
buildings at the East Jersey Olde Towne
Village are barrier free. The second floor of the Museum
has been videotaped and this is shown with open captions on
the first floor, to accommodate visitors to that site, who
may have mobility restrictions.

| Sign Language Interpreters
Notify us two (2) weeks in advance of a
program, and we'll arrange for a sign language interpreter for you, without
charge.

| Braille
The Commission owns a Braille printer and appropriate software. All materials
developed by the Commission are available to you in a Braille edition. Often
this will be offered at the program site, or you may place a request, by voice

Large Print
The Commission routinely publishes its materials,
brochures, educational guides and program literature, in large
type format. Contact us to be placed on the large-type mailing list for
the County Cultural Calendar and our newsletter.

Residents who utilize telecommunications devices for the deaf may
contact us directly on our TTY line 732.745.3888. We also encourage
calls via the New Jersey Relay Service 1.800.852.7899.

| Assistive Listening
Both the Cornelius Low House and the East Jersey
Olde Towne Village offer assistive listening services. Small,
battery powered units may be borrowed for use during your museum visit, without
charge - for those with hearing aides, cochlear implants or difficulty hearing
in general. Additionally, portable systems are in use at meetings and
gatherings in community locations.
