The Middlesex County Neighborhood Arts Consortium ( MCNAC) is the first coalition of its kind in New Jersey. Through the Consortium and funding from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, the Cultural and Heritage Commission joins together local not-for-profit art organizations in a unique venture of cooperative cultural planning, promotion and audience development. This project links the public and private sectors, in order to offer arts activities to Middlesex County .
