WHO VOLUNTEERS
|
|
Volunteers are neighbors, college students, retired persons,
business people, artists, and individuals just like you. Your
skills and interests will be matched with the needs of the
Middlesex County Cultural and Heritage Commission. Organized
groups can also volunteer. All individuals are encouraged to
apply as all our sites and programs are completely
accessible.
|
|
WHAT WILL YOU DO
|
|
You will assist with educational programs
conducted by historians, artists, educators and staff. Some
volunteers conduct tours, others assist with public programs,
workshops and festivals. Or, you may work behind the scenes
- with brochure mailings, telephone queries, or setting up displays.
And . . . volunteers are needed to update this web page! Volunteer
opportunities are available at the Cornelius
Low House/Middlesex County Museum, East
Jersey Olde Towne Village, VSAarts,
or general community projects at the Middlesex
County Cultural and Heritage Commission.

with the public, from young people to senior citizens. Schedules are
flexible, with days, evenings and weekends available. The volunteer
coordinator will arrange a schedule at your convenience.
