The Middlesex
County Workforce Investment Board (WIB) has identified literacy as a
top priority. The WIBs vision is to enhance existing literacy
services so that the current & future workforce possesses the skills
necessary to succeed in the workplace.
The WIB and its literacy partners have created a community agency directory so you can quickly and easily find the local services you need. Please see the link below for further details of programs and locations. Printed brochures are also available in the following languages: Spanish, Russian, Gujarat , Korean, Chinese, Arabic and Vietnamese. Please call 732-745-3970 to obtain copies.
Some programs are free, others may charge a fee. Please call the provider to learn about any fees or eligibility requirements for their programs.
The Department of Workforce Development also offers low level literacy classes and GED testing sessions at the Roosevelt CLC (see Community Learning Center link).
