The acreage in this conservation area is divided roughly equally between East and South Brunswick. It is located on both sides of Ireland Brook between Davidson's Mill Road and Church Lane.

The property connects 371 acres of Tamarack Golf Course, Farrington Lake and the 395 acres of Davidsons Mill Pond Park. This chain of over 1,000 acres of open space is one of the most significant in the County.

Ireland Brook protects the floodplain of the brook, surface and underground water quality, and important habitats.
