County Prosecutor’s Office
Cousin charged with
Curtis Jones, (DOB 2/11/84) of Roebling, was charged on May
15, 2011, with murder, armed robbery and unlawful possession of a weapon in the
death on May 12, 2011, of Boniface Musei, 22, of North Brunswick.
Jones has been identified as Musei’s second cousin.
Following
an intensive investigation by Detective Steven Dunkel of the North Brunswick
Police Department, and Investigator Michael Daniewicz of the Middlesex County
Prosecutor’s Office, Jones was charged on May 15, 2011, at the Atlantic County
Jail in Mays Landing, where he was being held on unrelated municipal court
warrants issued in

The
investigation began when a friend of Musei called police after finding the
victim dead in an apartment at the
Musei was pronounced dead at the scene, apartment I-9,
shortly after he was found by the friend, who called police at 11:26 a.m.
An autopsy by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s
Office showed the victim died from multiple gunshot wounds.
The
investigation determined that Jones shot the victim and took an undisclosed
amount of cash before fleeing.

is the case with all criminal defendants, the charges against Jones are merely
accusations and he is innocent until proven guilty.
