Ex-clerk imprisoned for theft
Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce J. Kaplan announced today
that a former accounts receivable clerk has been sentenced to serve five years
in a
Allison T. Tanzola (DOB 12/9/76) of the Avenel section of
Woodbridge also was ordered to repay $305,771.68 she took from Brown &
Bigelow Inc., a Minnesota-based promotional products manufacturer with an
office in Woodbridge.

January 12, 2011, to a count of second-degree theft, admitting she took the
money in various amounts between February 1, 2007, and February 1, 2010.

was charged after Investigator Gary Charydczak of the Middlesex County
Prosecutor’s Office determined she credited her personal accounts with refunds
that were supposed to be paid to customers of the promotional products company.
The
investigation began after company officials contacted authorities.
Tanzola
had worked for the company for about nine years.
