Homicide victim found in New Brunswick

 

 

 

          Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce J. Kaplan and New Brunswick Police Director Anthony A. Caputo announced that an unidentified male was found dead this morning in his room in a city apartment building.

 

A preliminary investigation determined that the man, in his late 20’s, appears to be the victim of a homicide, but the cause of death will not be disclosed pending the results of an autopsy, which is scheduled for tomorrow.

 

The man’s identity has yet to be determined through an on-going investigation.

 

The investigation by Detective Ronoldy Martinez, of the New Brunswick Police Department, and Investigator Eleazar Ricardo, of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, began after police were notified that the victim was found at 10:18 a.m. today.

 

The victim was found in a room that he rented in an apartment at 138 French St., New Brunswick.
