Human remains found in woods

 

 

          Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce J. Kaplan and Edison Police Chief Thomas Bryan announced that police are working to identify human remains that were found today in a wooded area of the township.

 

The Edison Police Department and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office began an investigation shortly after a man, whose name is being withheld, discovered the remains and contacted authorities at 2:15 p.m.

 

The remains were found in a wooded area next to the Oakwood Plaza shopping center on Wood Avenue in Edison.
