Man charged in South
Plainfield homicide
Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce J.
Kaplan and South Plainfield Acting Chief James Parker announced Harold Tucker
(age 29) has been charged with the murder of Quadir
Ali-Muslim. A criminal complaint signed
today by South Plainfield Police Detective Shaun Clifford charges Tucker with
the murder of Ali-Muslim, Possession of a Handgun for Unlawful Purpose and
Possession of a Handgun by a Person Previously Convicted of a Crime. Bail was set by the Honorable Bradley J. Ferencz at $2,000,000 without a ten percent option.
An autopsy
performed today revealed that Ali-Muslim died from a single gun shot wound.
Tucker is
currently at large and being by sought by the South Plainfield Police and
Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.
Anyone who has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call
South Plainfield Detective Shaun Clifford at 908-226-7664 or Middlesex County
Prosecutor’s Office Investigator Scott Crocco at 732-745-4471. Tucker is between 5’10” and 6’ tall, and
weighs between 180 and 200 lbs. He may
be armed and dangerous, and if observed, should not be approached. Harold Tucker, as are all criminal
defendants, is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
