Monroe Township woman found dead

 

 

          Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce J, Kaplan and Monroe Police Chief John J. Kraivec announced that a township woman was found dead in her home this morning, the apparent victim of a homicide.

 

Theresa Wysokowski, 48, of 1654 Perrineville Road in Monroe was found in her bedroom and was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:01 a.m.

 

The results of an autopsy are not immediately available, but it appears the woman suffered multiple stab wounds.

 

Police were dispatched to the home after receiving a 911 call at 5:43 a.m. from the residence.

 

Ms. Wysokowski lived in the house with her husband and two children. Their identities will not be released at this time. The children were not injured.

 

An investigation by Detective Griffin Banos of the Monroe Police Department and Investigator Butch Villegas of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office determined that Ms. Wysokowski’s husband was at work at the time.
