Police identify remains

 

 

Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce J. Kaplan and Edison Police Chief Thomas Bryan announced today that investigators have determined the identity of human remains that were found in a wooded area of the township.

 

Jubar R. ‘’Esco’’ Croswell (DOB 7/10/80) of Brooklyn, N.Y. was identified today during an investigation by the Edison Police Department and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.

 

Croswell worked as a male model.

 

          The cause of death has not yet been determined, but the investigation is continuing.

 

          The investigation began after a man, whose identity is being withheld, contacted authorities after discovering the remains on September 23, 2010 while walking in a wooded area near the Oakwood Plaza shopping center on Wood Avenue.
