Police investigate apparent homicide

 

          Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce J. Kaplan and Kenneth McCormick, director of the North Brunswick Police Department, announced that police are actively investigating the apparent homicide of a 22-year-old township man who was found dead in an apartment today.

 

Boniface Musei was pronounced dead in the apartment at the Oak Leaf Village apartment complex in North Brunswick, shortly after he was found by a friend, who called police at 11:26 a.m.

 

An investigation is being conducted by Detective Steven Dunkel of the North Brunswick Police Department, and Investigator Michael Daniewicz of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office.

 

The results of an autopsy being conducted by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office were not immediately available, but it appears Mr. Musei was the victim of a homicide.

 

No arrests have been made at this time, but the investigation is continuing.
