Police, educators attend seminar
The Ninth Annual Middlesex County Prevention Education
Summit will be held on June 10, 2011, from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. at the
Presentations will be offered by specialists who will cover
a number
of topics aimed at providing practical information on
drugs, rehabilitation, gangs and cyber bullying.
Among speakers is Investigator John Marotta of the
Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, who will discuss ‘’Gangs in
In
addition, Jackie Zaremba, a doctorate nurse practitioner from Princeton House
Behavioral House, a rehabilitation and treatment facility, will
discuss ‘’Treatment Trends.’’
Special
Agent Douglas Collier of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration – New Jersey
Division, will offer a workshop on ‘’Drug Trends,’’ and will identify the kinds
of illicit drugs people are using.
In
addition to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, the program is being
sponsored by the National Council on Alcohol and Drug Dependency of Middlesex
County Inc., Princeton House, the DEA, the Rutgers University Police Department
and Jannarone Consulting Services, a
