School board member charged with attempted luring;
endangerment
David
L. Josselyn, (DOB 5/14/62) of 11D White Oak Lane, Old Bridge, was arrested and
charged January 28, 2010 at the Old Bridge Police Department.
Josselyn
currently is serving a three-year term on the Old Bridge Board of Education.
The term expires on April 20, 2010. He also serves as vice president of the Old
Bridge Police Department’s Civilian Emergency Response Team, a civilian
volunteer organization sponsored by the police department.
Josselyn
was arrested after an investigation by Old Bridge Police and Investigator Frank
DiNinno of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office determined Josselyn tried
to lure the child to an isolated location in the township on January 25, 2010.
The
child subsequently reported the incident to school authorities, who contacted
township police. The gender of the child is being withheld to protect the
youngster’s identity. The child is known to Josselyn, but they are not related.

merely accusations and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
