Suspect sought in Woodbridge burglaries; reward offered

 

Middlesex County Acting Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Anthony A. Caputo, chairman and president of Crime Stoppers of Middlesex County, announced today that a cash reward is being offered to anyone who anonymously calls and provides information leading to the arrest of a suspect in two burglaries in Woodbridge.

 

David Carroway (5/14/61) of East Orange remains at large after being charged with two counts of burglary and two counts of theft committed at businesses in Woodbridge on July 1, 2013 and June 6, 2013.

 

In the burglary on July 1, 2013, Carroway was charged with entering a building located on Route 1, and removing a safe containing an undisclosed amount of cash. Carroway put the safe in the rear of a red sport utility vehicle and drove away.

 

In the burglary on June 6, 2013, Carroway was charged with entering Majestic Lanes bowling alley, taking an undisclosed amount of cash, and driving away in a gold-colored sedan.

 

He is 5-feet, 8-inches tall, weighs about 230 pounds and has salt and pepper hair.

 

          Anyone with information of Carroway’s whereabouts is urged to call Crime Stoppers of Middlesex County at 1-800-939-9600.

Those who call will be given instructions on how to collect cash rewards by using a numerical code that will be recognized by a local bank, which will pay the rewards following approval by Crime Stoppers of Middlesex County.

 

The amount of the rewards will be determined by the Board of Directors of Crime Stoppers of Middlesex County.
