†Three charged with murder in fatal shooting; two remain at large
††††††††† The three have been charged with murder and conspiracy to
possess a handgun in the death of Rahim Fuqua, 30, who was shot on
††††††††† The three have been identified as: Steven Perez (DOB
2/10/95) and Jonathan Rodriguez, (DOB 7/9/92) both of
††††††††† Police are actively searching for Perez and Rodriguez, who
remain at large. Peguero, who was wounded in the right leg during the shooting,
previously had been charged with two counts of hindering police in their
investigation and is being held at the
††††††††† After the additional charges were filed, bail for Peguero
was raised to $1.5 million. Bail for Perez was set at $2 million and Rodriguez,
$1 million. The bails were set in

by Detective Brandt Gregus of the New Brunswick Police Department and

As is the case with all criminal defendants, the charges filed against Peguero, Perez and Rodriguez are merely accusations and they are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
