Woman identified; cause of death remains undetermined

 

          Middlesex County Prosecutor Bruce J. Kaplan and Old Bridge Police Chief Thomas H. Collow announced that police today identified a 42-year-old woman whose body was recovered from a wooded area of the township on September 9, 2009.

 

          The name of the woman is being withheld until her next of kin is notified.

 

          An autopsy was performed today by the Middlesex County Medical Examiner’s Office, but the cause of death remained inconclusive pending the results of toxicological tests, which will take one to two weeks to complete.

 

Police recovered the woman’s body from the wooded area near residences on Springhill Road in Old Bridge after receiving a phone call at 1:28 p.m. on September 9, 2009.
