division provides health screening and education for adults in the community
in collaboration with local community agencies to provide a variety
of programs for the purpose of chronic disease prevention.
ADULT HEALTH SCREENING CLINIC PROGRAM
This program addresses the needs of the community and provides community based services. Screening clinics are offered throughout the year in collaboration with Community Agencies. For information call 732-745-3100.
Adult Health Screening Sessions are provided to county residents at varied sites and may include:
- Blood pressure screening
- Flu immunization
- Pneumococcal Vaccination
- Health education and counseling

CANCER EDUCATION AND EARLY DETECTION PROGRAM
This is a grant program targeted to the residents of Middlesex County who meet the state mandated criteria. The program targets minority and low income men and women with no insurance or insurance that does not cover screening. The grant provides for outreach education regarding breast, cervical, colorectal and prostate cancer risks, the importance of seeking screening and instruction in breast self-exam. REPORTABLE DISEASE PROGRAM
