PEDIATRIC (CHILD) HEALTH DIVISION
A division providing preventive health care and education for infants and children in the community. Services are provided through a variety of programs.
CHILD HEALTH CONFERENCE
A program for maintaining the health of infants and children in the community who have no insurance. The program provides preventive health care, ages 2 months to 5 years. The service includes physical examinations, health screenings, immunizations, and health counseling. For information and/or appointments, please call 732-745-3100 weekday afternoons (1:00 to 4:00 p.m.). The services are provided for a fee.
A community based program providing immunizations to all children, including school-age children, who have no insurance that covers preventive health care. The clinics are scheduled several times a year throughout the County. School age children through age 18 will be immunized according to school requirements (NJS Ch. 14). Previous immunization records must be presented. Parent or guardian must be present.
